Aim
The work of an anaesthesiological nurse is associated with constantly accompanying psychophysical loads. These burdens are most often caused by too much time pressure, the need to make quick decisions, and the nedd for sudden interventions. All of the above factors cause considerable fatigue and exhaustion of the body, and wakefulness and being in constant readiness cause anaesthesiological nurses to increase emotional and mental tension.

Material and methods
125 anesthesia nurses working in the Independent in 4 hospitals in the Lubelskie Voivodeship The method of diagnostic survey was used in the work. The main research tool was the self-constructed, original survey questionnaire. The questionnaire was assessed by three competent judges and pilot studies were carried out, which were not included in the main studies. The questionnaire did not require any corrections.

Results
Statistical analysis showed that psychophysical stresses negatively affect the work of an anesthesiology nurse. In addition, it has been shwon that drowsiness, nervousness anxiety or distracion and time pressure, as well as the need to bend down have a negative impact and cause difficulties in performing the work of an anesthesiological nurse. Anesthesia nurses most often cope with psychophysical loads by using an increased number of stimulants and through other methods such as physical activity, conversation with colleagues, isolation.

Conclusions
The results of the conducted research show certain tendencies and dependencies that should be checked by expanding the research in a larger group of people working as nurses and anesthesia nurses.
