Reviewers
In the course of submitting a paper, the author is asked to provide data (name, surname and e-mail address) of two suggested reviewers. The editorial staff reserves the right to decide whether or not to use the author's suggestions.
Review process The articles are reviewed on their merits and whether they present new insights into the research, new thinking and contribution to its development, changes in clinical practice or perception of disease. By submitting the paper, all authors of the article agree to its publication. The signature of the author responsible for the correspondence on the application letter means that this condition is met.
Submitted papers are initially reviewed by the editors of the journal. Articles of insufficient value are rejected. An incomplete set of documents or articles not prepared in accordance with the standards will be sent back to the authors before the review process with information about the shortcomings. Registered articles are sent to independent reviewers for review. The review process usually lasts from 2 to 4 weeks.
The articles are reviewed in a double-blind selection system and published in an open access system. The reviewer performs the review using an electronic system based on questions prepared for a specific journal. The reviewer may also send individual comments for publication in the article.
Submitted papers are accepted for publication by the Editorial Office after a positive opinion of independent reviewers. If the submitted work requires corrections, an amended version should be sent as a second version of the article together with a commentary to all the comments of the reviewers and the calculation and marking of the corrections made in the text within 7 days.
