Aim
There are many sociodemographic factors that influence the awareness of the inhabitants of the Płock subregion about preventive programs financed by the NFZ (National Health Fund). Preventive programs of the National Health Fund (NFZ) in Poland aim to prevent and control the development of various diseases and promote health in society. The National Health Fund finances and organizes various preventive programs that aim to reduce the risk of disease and improve the quality of life of patients. Here are some examples of National Health Fund preventive programs: Vaccination programs: The National Health Fund finances vaccination programs that help prevent infectious diseases such as measles, mumps, and rubella. The aim of the study was to check the knowledge about preventive tests among people living in Płock and the surrounding area.

Material and methods
The study used a self-designed questionnaire, which consists of an information sheet, 18 single-choice questions, and 4 multiple-choice questions. The study group consists of 322 people living in the Płock subregion, i.e. Płock Grodzki County (Płock city), Płock Ziemski County, Sierpc County, and Gostynin County.

Results
Gender, place of residence, and marital status of respondents did not affect the level of knowledge regarding preventive programs financed by the National Health Fund. The level of education influenced the respondents' answers. The higher it was, the more often respondents indicated the correct answer.

Conclusions
We assume that sociodemographic factors influence the answers given by respondents.
